My WHY is to show myself and my children that with hard work and dedication you can do what you love as your profession. That not following what society tells you, doesn’t mean you won’t succeed. It may take a little more time to get there, but it will be so worth it! So, if you’re on the fence of pursuing your dreams, go for it! You only get this one life. You should do what you love!

My husband has always supported me in every season of my professional journey. From working in health care to becoming a full time Small Business Owner. He is there to lend a hand when needed and helps me out with new ideas! I’m so happy we both love what I do!

I have always wanted to do more with my creativity, but never really knew what that was. It wasn’t until the Pandemic hit in 2020 that it all just fell into place. As someone that suffers from anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder I needed an outlet. Something that would bring me joy.

My Cricut from my husband did just that! In 2019 I dabbled with vinyl. Creating signs, personalizing bags, making ornaments & the list goes on. I also used my Cricut to screen print T-Shirts! The possibilities were endless. I was asked to create a few things for a photo shoot and was introduced to Instagram. After joining Instagram, I found these amazing badass women creating these gorgeous handmade 3D wood signs. I was hooked; watching them create something from a piece of wood was amazing. I needed a scroll saw, it was a must! After convincing the hubby to buy it, AE Custom Designs was born!

Scrolling has been such a blessing. I’m able to take time for myself and focus on just what I’m making and for a little while gain some of myself back. Advocating for mental health is very huge for me. Thank you for supporting my small business and for helping me achieve my dreams!
